ENOUGH SNOW

I've had enough snow this winter to last for a
very, very, very long time. A friend sent me
this collection of snow cartoons. I find his motives
suspect. Is this a reminder.

How Do You Know the Recession is Serious?

The recession has hit everybody really hard... My neighbor got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.

Parents in Beverly Hills fired their nannies and learned their children's names.

A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico ...

The Treasure Island casino in Las Vegas is now managed by Somali pirates.

Congress says they are looking into this Bernard Madoff scandal. Oh Great! The guy who made $50 Billion disappear is being investigated by the people who made $1.5 Trillion disappear!

And, finally.... I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Hotline. I got a call center in Pakistan , and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

CRAZY LOVE

My new interracial romantic comedy, CRAZY LOVE, which is being published by Lyrical Press has a release date. It will be ringing in the new year on January 23rd.

CRAZY LOVE offers hope to people with dysfunctional families. And Lord knows there are more of them than so called normal ones. It all boils down to one question: How far would you go to save your engagement? That's the problem Abby Minton faces when her handsome fiance's most normal family wants to meet her family, the most dysfunctional one north of the Mason Dixon line. Her solution definitely could start a trend and even a new cottage industry.
