Just got back from RWA National exhausted but elated. I never had so much fun crammed into four days. There's something about being in a place where there are so many writers. The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel is huge. Just going from place to place gave us all a workout.
Just seeing some of my favorite authors like Janet Evanovich, Norah Roberts and Linda Howard was well worth being there. Poor Janet has a broken leg, Norah won another award for Tribute and Linda was a down-to-earth sweetheart who speaks with an out-of-this-world South drawl. Being a New Yorker, I find it fun.

There's no place like home--or is there?
